Known as the "Soul Queen of New Orleans", she is a contemporary of Aretha Franklin and Etta James, but did not tour as relentlessly, and industry support and major commercial success eluded her for decades.

For King & Country is the new band name of the Australian brothers of Rebecca St. James, formerly known as Joel & Luke.
''We were born and raised in the southern hemisphere, the land down-under… Australia. And in case you can't tell, we are brothers. Since before we can remember, music has been our life's natural backdrop and soundtrack. Our Father was a music promoter turned entertainment manager which gave us a first hand introduction to a very eclectic mix of music and live shows.

Ron White

Posted: 26 Apr 2019 11:14 PM PDT

Rarely seen without a drink in one hand and a smoke in the other, Ron White has had a career that has taken him from the cassette racks of truck stops to the world of stadiums and feature films — but all the while they’ve called him "Tater Salad." The myth around the Fritch, TX, native’s famous nickname has to do with a flippant remark made to an arresting police officer. He told the officer that he had once before broken the law under the sinister alias of "Tater Salad," the officer believed him, and it was forever on his arrest record.

Bobaflex

Bobaflex are an American hard rock band from Point Pleasant, West Virginia. They were part of Gigantour in 2005 and Rock on the Range in 2008. Formed in 1998 with current members John Hoskins, Jerod Mankin, Shaun McCoy, Tommy Johnson and Marty McCoy Bobaflex is an odd beast, a bracing mix of heavy riffage, hip-hop-inspired beats and alternately growling and soaring vocals. There are four singers in the band, so the angle of attack constantly shifts, which is partly why the bands songs careen around your brain far longer than hard rock’s usual offerings.
