Take 5 southern california guys, mix in some surf, stone, and psychedelic, throw them in a haunted mansion in west hochiminster and with a little luck, you might get a band like The Growlers. The bands name comes from lead singer Brooks Nielsen and guitarist Moustache Matt. One day Brooks came home and Matt was takin a big growler in the outhouse and the rest is history. Watch some footage of old Wind N Sea Surf Club back in the 70’s and you might get a taste of what this band’s live shows are like.

Fozzy is a heavy metal band, fronted by professional wrestler Chris Jericho , and also including musicians from Stuck Mojo and on their recent album, guests from other established metal bands. Fozzy started out as Fozzy Osbourne, a cover band assembled by Rich Ward from whatever musicians he could find on a given week. In 1999, Jericho met Ward in San Antonio after a wrestling show, and was invited to play with the band. Jericho sat in on a few sessions, but did not plan to play with them permanently.

He has signed a major record deal with Interscope Records, and is the CEO of his own record label Glory Boys Entertainment. His debut album Finally Rich was released on December 18, 2012. He attended Dulles Elementary School and later Banner High School on the city’s South Side. He released his debut mixtape The Glory Road on July 9, 2011 and his second mixtape Bang on October 11.

Tower of Power is a horn-based funk/soul band from Oakland, California. In the mid-1960s, 17-year-old tenor saxophonist Emilio Castillo moved from Detroit, Michigan, to Fremont, California. He started a band called the Motowns, specializing in soul music. In 1968, Castillo teamed up with baritone saxophonist Stephen "The Funky Doctor" Kupka and trumpet/trombone player Mic Gillette, moved to Oakland, and began writing original material. They changed the band’s name to Tower of Power and began playing frequently in the Bay Area.

Descendents are an American punk rock band from Lomita, California, USA. They are known for being one of the early bands in the hardcore punk scene to sing about more personal and comical topics reflective of their own lives. They were formed in 1978 by guitarist Frank Navetta (RIP) , bassist Tony Lombardo and drummer Bill Stevenson. Shortly after forming they enlisted Milo Aukerman and made what started out a surf band into a full fledged punk unit.
