Other members of the band were Mark Makoway (guitars), Jeff Pearce (bass), Kevin Young (keyboards) and Paul Wilcox (drums). Moist formed in the early 1990s and eventually released an independent cassette in 1993. The cassette caught the attention of EMI, who released their first full-length studio CD, Silver, in 1994. Tritt was born in Marietta, Georgia to James and Gwen Tritt. At age 3, he received his first guitar from his father. Dub Trio is made up by DP Holmes (guitar & keyboards), Stu Brooks (bass & keyboards) and Joe Tomino (drums & melodica). With revolutionary combinations of electronic, rock, and jazz, Dub Trio pay homage to King Tubby’s original dub style. In the past they have toured with Meat Beat Manifesto and Soulive. They are all sought after session musicians, having recorded with the likes of Bo Bice, G-Unit, Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, and Macy Gray. Joe Tomino recently recorded an album with The Fugees. DP Holmes can be heard on albums by Mos Def and Common. In 2005 Dub Trio embarked on their first recorded effort with vocals, exchanging files with Mike Patton. This song, titled “Not Alone”, was featured on both Dub Trio’s 2006 sophomore record, New Heavy as well as Mike Patton’s 2006 album under the artist name Peeping Tom, also accompanying Peeping Tom on tour in 2007. LeBlanc grew up hanging out amongst the session musicians at Fame Studios. By age 7, LeBlanc was already learning how to play a Picking style on the guitar and began writing his own songs when his father bought him a guitar for his 11th birthday. He graduated from St. Mark’s School of Texas in Dallas in 1989. While still in high school, he recorded his first solo effort, Mythologies, released on the Carpe Diem label, and produced by future 97 Murry Hammond.
