Zoe

Posted: 06 Mar 2019 10:19 PM PST

Zoé is a Mexican rock band, that’s not afraid of experimenting, with a modern sound, an eclectic style, some British influences & overall, their music’s sophisticated without loss of rock energy. Their lyrics cover many subjects / feelings, with the same level of sophistication that their music shows, plus honesty. They usually write songs in Spanish, sometimes in English or a combination of both languages.

Doorly

Posted: 06 Mar 2019 09:38 PM PST

In an era when it seems every DJ shows up to gigs carrying something smaller than a kid's lunchbox, Doorly is the exception to this rule. Using a set up that would make even Zabiela blush (3 CDJs, 2 1210s, EFX unit and Pioneer 800 to be precise), when he says he's DJing live, he means it. Everything that you hear in his set is being created in the mix, then and there. Doorly’s movement behind the decks is relentless and he switches between musical genres with ease with an unfaltering energy.

The Manhattan Transfer is the name of two incarnations of an American vocal group, with Tim Hauser being the only link between the two groups. The group's name comes from John Dos Passos' 1925 novel Manhattan Transfer and reflects their New York origins. The first group, established in New York City in 1969, disbanded after producing a single album, Jukin' (1971). This article focuses on the second line-up which was set up in 1972 and is still together. It is famous for mixing jazz, big band, and popular music styles.
